RAAF Helicopter ops in Vietnam 1966-72

The Pacific: General Aviation & Questions - PPRuNe Forums - www.pprune.org
This first class presentation by former RAAF pilot (and later airline pilot) Wayne Parsons on RAAF helicopter operations 1966 to 1972 in Vietnam is a must see for all pilots both in the airline industry and general aviation. It shows pure flying skill at its best.

No GPS or glass cockpits in those days. Just map reading and raw courage.

Both presentations go for approximately 40 minutes each and I guarantee viewers will not want to leave their screen until each presentation is concluded.

44:33 mins

Also check out this one - if it will open - just type in the Title first in

"Huey pilot in Vietnam"

About the making of a "Huey" Captain - (Wayne Parsons)

and a never-to-be-forgotten-day.
